The Queen of Collagen

Right before the holidays, I had the chance to attend the most beautiful skincare event I’ve ever experienced. Hosted by Sana—the spa in Miami where I go for my monthly facials—the event featured none other than inspiring entrepreneur and fellow NJ native, Jena Covello.

Jena, whom I call the “Queen of Collagen,” is the creator of Agent Nateur, a luxurious and highly effective skincare line free of harmful chemicals and toxins. If you’re unfamiliar with Agent Nateur, it’s time to get acquainted. The brand is all about clean, efficacious beauty, and I’ve been a HUGE fan for years. My journey with Agent Nateur started with their collagen and pearl powder, and it didn’t take long for me to become equally captivated by Jena herself. Her transparency—not only about the brand she’s built but also about health and important global issues—is incredibly refreshing.

In today’s world, where so many “bad” brands prioritize profit over product, finding a clean, trustworthy brand with a kick-ass founder feels like striking gold. Jena and Agent Nateur represent everything I look for in a skincare line: quality, integrity, and results.

In this article, I’ll take you inside this unforgettable event, share some of Jena’s invaluable tips, and recommend my favorite Agent Nateur products (although, let’s be real—they’re all amazing). Enjoy!

Agent Nateur Facial

The masterclass was held at the aesthetic Moe Studios in Miami, FL. During the masterclass, Jena walked us through an Agent Nateur Facial. Here's what we did:

1. First, we enhanced our calm with Agent Nateur's new liposomal supplement, Calm (Beauty). This is a cherry-flavored daily elixir made to promote calm, health, and beauty within the body with ingredients spermidine and taurine. It really works, and I ended up purchasing this product at the event.

2. Next we double cleansed with Holi (Cleanse) Facial Oil and then Acid (Wash) Lactic Acid cleanser. Jena explained that lactic acid is gentler on the skin than acids like glycolic and works great for brightening. I have Holi (Cleanse) Facial Oil and use it at night during my double cleanse.

Tip: Double cleansing should only be done at night. When double cleansing, first use the oil cleanser and follow with a water-based cleanser.

3. Then we used the Holi (Water) Pearl and Rose Essence and mixed it with the Holi (c) Calcium and Vitamin C dry powder. Jena informed us that the dry powdered formula won’t oxidize like traditional vitamin C serums, ensuring you’ll receive all its benefits. This is the ONLY vitamin C on the market that I can use without skin irritation. It is truly amazing for the complexion.

4. Time for a mask. We used the Holi (Bright) Resurface Glass Face Mask, which is basically like Botox in a bottle (without the needles and toxins)! I purchased this mask a few weeks after the event during a sale on the Agent Nateur website because I could not stop thinking about it.

5. We then added Holi (Glow) Ageless Eye and Lip Serum in those areas, which is super lightweight and luxurious! I have SUPER sensitive eyes, so my facialist recommended this product to me a while ago. I find it is the only eye serum I can use, and I love it.

6. Get glowing. Next, we applied Holi (Oil) Refining Ageless Face Serum. If you are looking for a serum that is hydrating and will leave you glowing, then this serum is for you. This will be my next Agent Nateur purchase.

7. For the grand finale, we applied Holi (Creme) Filter Face Cream as our moisturizer with Holi (Sun) on top to protect us from Miami's strong UV rays.

Jena's Tips

Aside from being a skincare expert and founder of this incredible beauty brand, Jena also lives consciously, like myself. Throughout the event, she shared valuable health and beauty tips, which I really appreciated. I enjoy following her personal Instagram @Jenacovello, where she constantly shares information on how we can holistically heal our bodies. Here are some tips she shared at the event:

1. Glycolic acid is pretty harsh, so it can only be applied to our faces 1-2 times monthly.

2. Scalp massages help promote hair growth. At the event, we were gifted one of her scalp massagers, and it is so relaxing to use.

3. Eating red meat can add shine to our existing hair within weeks.

4. Gua Shas should not be made of stones like Jade. They are porous, which makes them hard to fully clean as dirt gets trapped in them. Instead, opt for a Gua Sha like Agent's, which is made of stainless steel.

Holi (Hot) Chocolate Recipe

In addition to facials, we also enjoyed Matcha Lattes and Hot Chocolate made with Agent Nateur's collagen and pearl powder. The Holi (Hot) Chocolate was so yummy that I took the recipe down and have been recreating it at home (drinking one now while writing this article). Here it is:

  • Holi (Mane) Collagen and Pearl Powder Supplement
  • Cosmic Cocoa Adaptogenic Hot Chocolate by Moon Juice
  • Himalayan Pink Salt
  • Organic Almond Milk
  • Marshmallows

2025 is for Brilliant Skin

With the rise of conscious brands in the skincare market, make 2025 your year of brilliant skin. Take time to really care for it, after all our skin is the largest organ in our body! One tip I recommend is to get a monthly facial. I invest in a monthly facial at Sana instead of toxic injections (which, for personal reasons, I will never use) and have never felt better in my own skin.

I truly enjoyed this beautiful event and taking a moment out of the business of life to further my education in skincare. I am a huge fan of this brand and I am excited to watch it continue to grow and bring more luxurious and clean products into the beauty space.

Because this line is made of such pure ingredients, it is on the more expensive side of skincare. Therefore, I am going to give you my top 3 products that i suggest you start with, and then you can go from there.

1. Holi (Mane) Collagen and Pearl Powder Supplement. This was my first Agent product and I want it to be yours too. One, because we lose about 1% of collagen every year past the age of about 25. Supplementing collagen is one of the "real" ways to prolong wrinkles. Two, it is AMAZING for hair growth. I use it daily by mixing it in my smoothie.

2. Holi (Glow) Ageless Eye and Lip Serum. I really think this is the best eye serum on the market. It is so light and has made a difference in my under-eye area.

3. Holi (Trinity) 3 Step Starter Kit Travel Size. These three products work extremely well together, and it gives you the opportunity to try them all out with the travel size option without investing in the full size of the set.
